we losted our only child july 3 03 we have her 2 grils one 12 0ne 4 i losted 2 new born babies at birth and i did love them but i didt get to see them grow up her i did and a doctor can give pills knoeing she was a pill person i have 2 big bags of pills there were 3 doctors one is husband and wift my babby layed 15 days not knowing we were there she drove 12 hours round trip to get more i would wish you all would pray we can get these doctors for what they did to my child and she was not the first to od frome them i fell like i am in a night mear and have not woke up god bless you all.life is hard right now please pray for me and her family

I found your site while looking for information about the life of Bob Keeshan ("Captain Kangaroo") who died today (may God rest his soul). I enjoyed watching his program as a child and have always remembered him fondly. I was pleased and impressed to learn that he had served as a Marine during the 1940s. I was also interested to read of the military careers of other famous persons on your site. It also made me fill a little guilty. You see, although I registered for the draft, during the late 1960s, when I became of age, I got a high draft lottery number, which meant that I would never be drafted, and I never served in the military. I did spend some time, in early high school, as a Civil Air Patrol Cadet, took a year of Army ROTC in college, and, during the early 1990s, worked for a while in the Military Social Services unit of a local Red Cross Chapter, however, those were as close as I came to serving in the military. During the early 1970s, when I could have served, the Vietnam War was going on and both my father (who had served in the U.S. Army in World War II) and a friend who had served in the Marines and been wounded in Vietnam, had concerns about the manner in which the war was being conducted. They felt that, given what was going on then, that if I did not have to serve, I would be better off not serving, at that time, so I did not join the military.
