This is sad times for us all. My husband served 23 years in the USN and USAF........ 3 in the USN.........20 in USAF. Thank God he is still with us. As a mother of four grown sons, 9 Grandchildren and a new Great Granddaughter I thank the LORD everyday.............I just can't watch the news on TV.............It breaks my heart for the families of the young men and women over there........... and I am a registered (R) LOL............ I excepted The Lord as my Savior in 1994, was Babtized in the Tenn. river in 1996. I have had so much death, illness and dark clouds since I became a Christian and had I not been reborn again I would not have survived. But because God Loves me I can survive. Bob, An old and older friend forwarded me THE TRAIN OF LIFE. That led to go through your beautiful web site. I found many tears in my eyes. So many messages were poignant and mindful of things in my life. I aam telling all of my family and friends to visit it. In Boston, about 65 years ago, as a troubled teenager, I was given this poem by a Dr. Reynold A. Jensen. I lost track of him soon afterwards when he went to the University of Minnesota Medical School. I assume that he was on the staff. You are today where your thoughts have brought you You will be tommorow where your thoughts take you For you cannot escape the results of your thoughts Be they beautiful or base or a mixture of both For you will always gravitate To that which you secretly most love. It has been on my mind throughout the years and has had its effects. Many of my family and friends have enjoyed the following in times of sorrrow. I used it on the "Thank You" note I sent after my wife of almost 55 years died (almost four years ago) instantly of a bronchial spasm. You have permission to use it without credit and without the explanation of why I wrote it.. THE ROOM My house has a room made of love With a door that won’t open even if I shove. This is one of the best web sites I have ever found...thank you for what you have done!! Me and my family thank you..we are Christians and our son is in Iraq. People ask me all the time how I'm handling things so well...and I don't mind telling them. It's because I have left my children in God's hands for all their lives now...they were only loaned to me anyway.
