My uncle sent me your page here, knowing my enthusiasm- I had that coral pink '58 Impala, when in high scchool, working nights and wk-ends to pay for it...then, years later, my spouse and I restored 2 '57 chevys to modified show cars, and a 55 Chev truck - all trophy haulers at the car shows... in between all this, we found time to restore 68 Camaro as well. Really enjoyed your website, particularly the Burma Shave signs which I've not seen in many years. I was surprised to learn that the Tucker Torpedo actually went into production. A magazine article which I read very many years ago reported that a "dummy" was presented for inspection by prospective dealers. It was said to be supported on blocks and was "powered" by an old Franklin engine.

Loved it. Only way to make it better would be to add more cars and go up into the late 1970s and include the 1977 Pontiac firebird trans am. The car that took the auto world by storm.

He only taught there one year but he & Otto Gaugh, & John Deal (all teachers from SWBI) went to Hot Springs, AK & started South Central Bible College.
